Rosie is a founding member of the choir and says it has been a source of joy to her to be part of the great sound and community of singers that the choir has become. She has been in choirs since primary school and has sung in anything going ever since, taking part in musical theatre, satirical trios, world music, folk festival choirs and city choirs with full orchestra. She says she can cope with country and western “at a push” but shies away from rap, punk or metal. Rosie’s teenage son introduces her to a wide range of new music and she can occasionally engage him with some great "old" music, so Pops is a natural genre in their household. Singing is a welcome counterpoint to her day job as a GP and health system integration/liaison worker. She has been on the executive on and off over the past 3 years and wants to do all she can to support a choir that adds to the sum of good music in the world.
